We love having the opportunity to meet and spend time with our talent in real life! We asked our team about their recent real life hangs with talent and what they loved most about their experience.
Senior Talent + Recruitment Manager, Solenice x Karrie Locher in San Diego
My trip to San Diego was for Karrie Locher’s event in collaboration with Tubby Todd. We held a Park Playdate for families. We also had the opportunity to be at Tubby Todd Headquarters as Karrie’s co-collab with the brand was launching!
One of my favorite things about getting the opportunity to support our talent in real life is being able to slow down and just connect on a personal level. It is also so incredible to see all of the hard work come to fruition.
I think with Karrie in particular it was so amazing to see what an incredible community she has built. Everyone was so excited to meet her in real life and share with her how she has helped them through different phases of motherhood.
Talent Coordinator, Jacky Nguyen x Karl Shakur in NYC
New York was a solo trip just for fun! It was my first time there. Karl and I got lunch at Jack’s Wife Freda, went to the MoMA, and then watched the sunset up at the top of the Rockefeller. I found out he has a degree in architecture and I loved getting to know him more!
Director of Talent, Step Fields + Senior Talent Coordinator, Savannah Shea x Lo Beeston, Mallory from @ReserveHome and Shelby of @PrettyInThePines in NYC
We went to NYC to support Lo at her TikTok Workshop with Vayner and spend time with our NYC creators! getting to connect with talent IRL helps build on the friendship and trust so much! We are in constant contact daily for work, and it was SO NICE to be able to spend quality time together and chat about non-work stuff and get to know each other better as friends. We also got such a glimpse into their lifestyle which is so special and only helps build a stronger foundation for our work relationship.
