Parker Management is a full-service talent management company that represents leading content creators across digital platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more. We oversee creator’s brands and partnerships, working alongside them to build their business and achieve their goals.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is experienced, driven and self-motivated. This is not your average nine-to-five and requires someone willing to go above and beyond for their talent. The ideal candidate is an expert problem solver, negotiator, and mediator with an eye for strategic growth. They must be able to manage many projects at once, with a high attention to detail. This person is kind, intuitive, and looking to join a team of like-minded individuals.
Overview:
As a Talent Manager, individuals are responsible for managing a roster of creators - including but not limited to - developing strategy, overseeing brand partnerships, and working on co-collaborations or product development. Talent Managers will communicate with and oversee all aspects of brand partnerships including pitching, negotiations, scheduling, campaign management, and analytics. Talent Managers partner with their talent to flush out goals and create measurable and actionable plans to meet and achieve these benchmarks.
Job Description
Talent Management (90%)
- Work alongside your creator to identify the vision for their business, and develop strategies together to guarantee that advancement.
- Negotiate brand deals and opportunities for talent to maximize revenue potential for creators and Parker.
- Review and redline contracts and agreements to ensure they meet Parker Management standards.
- Handle all partnership communications in a manner that builds strong relationships with brands, agencies, talent, and key partners.
- Maintain talent calendar to keep creator apprised of important dates including content review, campaign go-lives, and insight submissions.
- Analyze creator business growth and objectives quarterly. Provide necessary feedback and identify ways to pivot if and when necessary.
- Work alongside our accounting team to ensure payments are correct and received in a timely manner.
- Work closely with our leadership team to grow and strengthen your roster of talent as needed.
Other Responsibilities (10%)
- Analyze current industry trends and the marketplace to identify new opportunities for advancement for your creators.
- Drive development in your role in all areas including organizational skills, communication, and industry knowledge.
- Work with brands and agencies to upsell and cross-sell the full Parker roster, maximizing opportunities for all Parker creators.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify emerging categories and creators ensuring that Parker Management is a leader in the industry.
Role Requirements (Applicants without these qualifications will not be considered):
- 1+ years of experience in talent management.
- 2-4 years of project management experience.
- A background or passion in digital marketing / media.
- Proven ability to negotiate and redline agreements and contracts.
- A deep understanding of social media platforms including, but not limited to - Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Avid daily consumer of online media and an understanding of the influencer marketing space.
