Parker Management is hiring a Junior Talent Manager. The focus of this position is to manage a select roster of talent in the digital space. Junior talent management will include actively signing and maintaining a roster of talent while securing opportunities for them, negotiating contracts, and supporting the growth of their brand partnerships.
*Note, this is a remote position and applicants must live within the state of Oregon.
Handle consistent communication with roster of talent and provide strategy and counsel across all business matters including social media, industry trends, brand extensions and growth trajectory
Act as key contact in regards to talent booking calendar, needed tasks by talent and general day to day needs associated with talent business
Assist talent in various tasks, including scheduling of appointments and communicating with represented digital talent on professional matters
Maintain fluid communication with clientele
Learn and develop your own set of skills as a talent manager in the influencer and digital world
Work directly with brands to see through influencer projects and maintain satisfaction with brands and agencies
Maintain key contacts and calendars for all talent
Outreach to brands and agencies on talent and agency’s behalf
Negotiate brand deals and opportunities for talent and ensure agreements and contracts are accurate, as well as invoicing is properly handled via agency’s bookkeeper
Work with our Director of Talent to grow and strengthen your own roster of talent
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field
2-3 years of experience in talent or social media campaign management
Strong knowledge of social media platforms required
Experience in contract negotiation/redlining, and talent development are preferred
Strong written, verbal, and visual presentation communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all personality types and behaviors; flexibility and adaptability
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload and deadlines
Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented work style
A passion for social media and an interest in developing talent relationships
